Scala Developer

Scala Developer – Securities Trades Processing (Dublin)
12-Month Contract | €450–€550 Daily Rate

Join a collaborative Dublin-based team (~15 developers) working on global initiatives within the Securities Trades Processing department (200+ people). This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to strategic platforms, work across locations, and influence best practices in software development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with users and technical teams to design and deliver scalable solutions
  • Develop features using clean, efficient Scala code with robust test coverage
  • Support deployments and post-release activities
  • Mentor team members and promote technical excellence
Team Culture
Work on diverse projects—from multi-year programs to agile sprints—while engaging with global stakeholders. The team values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Core Skills
  • Strong proficiency in Scala and functional programming
  • Experience in clean code, unit testing, and automated test suites
  • Familiarity with Scaled Agile methodologies
  • Ability to work across the full SDLC: requirements, development, testing, deployment, and support
