Your new company
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Sales Order Administrator to join our client's finance and admin team in Cork on a permanent basis. This company is a long-established food manufacturer with clients in Ireland, Europe and the UK.
Your new role
You will be the first point of contact for customers. Co-ordinating and processing all sales orders received. Taking orders from a range of channels and entering them into the order system in a timely and accurate fashion. Email and call handling in a busy environment. Maintaining and updating sales and customer records and managing customer order schedules. Must have the ability to prioritise and escalate issues where necessary and maintain and update price files with all customers. Liaise with sales reps in relation to queries with their customers. Prioritise customer care and provide friendly and positive customer service. Invoicing all customers and resolving any credit requests with the credit controller. Checking data accuracy in orders and invoices. Manage the reception function and ensure external visitors are granted access to the building, whilst following entry processes. Coordinate daily operations, including incoming/outgoing post, delivery management, arranging catering and organisation of meeting rooms. Collaborate with the other functional departments such as finance, production and logistics. Support with various ad hoc projects, internal/external audits, and various continuous improvement initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
You will have 2 years+ in an Administration position. Highly organised, enthusiastic person with good attention to detail. Strong numerical and analytical skills and excellent communication skills. The right person will be a self-starter with a positive attitude to work with strong initiative to ensure quality service is provided to your stakeholders. An Office Administration or Business-related qualification is advantageous. Proficient at IT systems, including MS Office.
