Sales Executive | Permanent | €50k–€100k+ | Munster | Field-Based/Onsite

Your new company

Our client is a well-established and growing wholesale food business operating across Munster and Dublin. With a strong reputation for quality, service, and reliability, they supply a wide customer base including retailers, cafés, restaurants, and hospitality providers. They are now seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join their team on a permanent basis to drive the growth of a key product category within the business.


Your new role

You will take ownership of developing and expanding a growing product division, focusing on increasing revenue, introducing new product lines, and winning new business across the region. This is a highly autonomous, field-based role involving regular travel to customer sites, with time spent in the Cork office supporting planning and commercial activity. You will work closely with existing customers while proactively identifying and securing new opportunities. Key duties include: Driving growth within an underdeveloped product category. Building and managing strong customer relationships across foodservice clients. Identifying and winning new business opportunities. Expanding product range and increasing spend within existing accounts. Bringing ideas and insights to support commercial strategy and product development


What you'll need to succeed

You will have proven experience in foodservice, wholesale, or FMCG sales, with a strong track record of growing accounts and introducing new products. You will bring an existing network of industry contacts and the ability to develop long-term client relationships. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and strong organisational and time-management skills. You will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be commercially driven, results-focused, and confident operating in a target-driven, field-based environment.


What you'll get in return

You will receive a competitive and negotiable salary package, with a base starting from approximately €50K and strong earning potential of €100K+ through commission and performance-related incentives.
