The Sales Executive role is an exciting new opportunity for an ambitious, motivated individual seeking to join a fast-growing FMCG company experiencing strong year-on-year growth. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will benefit from their extensive experience as well as a structured training and development programme designed to support your professional growth.
You will play a key role in managing and developing a portfolio of retail and foodservice customers, delivering strong sales performance, identifying commercial opportunities, and supporting the execution of the company’s strategic growth plans.
- Account Management & Sales Growth
- Support the management of retail and foodservice accounts to deliver strong sales results and growth targets.
- Build and maintain effective customer relationships, ensuring excellent communication and service.
- Execute customer plans, including completion of all internal and external documentation as required.
- Analyse sales data and customer insights to develop commercial plans that optimise KPI delivery.
- Identify strategic opportunities using customer, market, and product performance data.
- Monitor competitor activity, consumer trends, and market dynamics to support wider sales and NPD strategies.
- Work closely with marketing, planning, supply chain, production, and logistics teams to ensure effective and timely delivery of customer initiatives.
- Support the coordination of promotional activity, product launches, and customer campaigns.
- Prepare regular performance reports, including sales results, trends, risks, and proposed action plans.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the Sales Director to support decision-making and overall commercial strategy.
- Manage weekly social media marketing activity, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and promotional plans.
- Support brand visibility and engagement across digital platforms and customer channels.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong analytical ability with experience interpreting sales or market data.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial awareness with an understanding of FMCG or retail environments (desirable).
- Proactive, results-driven, and highly organised.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
- Strong IT skills, including Excel and CRM systems.
