Sales Administrator - Up to €34,000 DOE - Monaghan

Your new company

As a Sales Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the Sales and Commercial Teams by managing customer orders, maintaining accurate sales information, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, production, and logistics. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where organisation, accuracy, and strong communication skills are essential.


Your responsibilities

  • Process and manage customer orders from initial receipt through to final delivery.
  • Maintain and update customer accounts, pricing information, and order-related documentation using CRM and/or ERP systems.
  • Prepare quotations, order confirmations, and reports supporting the Sales Manager and wider team.
  • Liaise with production and logistics to coordinate order schedules and ensure timely dispatch.
  • Monitor stock levels and share updates with customers as needed.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries to maintain a high standard of service.
  • Assist in preparing sales forecasts and performance reports.
  • Support the organisation of customer visits, audits, and internal sales meetings.
  • Maintain data accuracy and ensure compliance with internal procedures and policies.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A relevant qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • At least two years’ experience in a sales administration or customer service position.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience using CRM or ERP systems to manage orders and client data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise effectively.
Preferred but not essential:
  • Experience in the manufacturing, packaging, or plastics industry.
  • Knowledge of logistics coordination, order processing, and inventory management.
  • Experience working in a high‑volume sales environment with multiple stakeholders.
