This organisation is a globally recognised, award-winning financial institution that has been in continuous operation for a number of years. The office is located close to public transport lines in the suburbs of Limerick City and will be a hybrid model after training completion.
Your new roleAn opportunity has arisen for a Senior Consultant within Limerick Regulatory Reporting department and some of the principal responsibilities are as follows:
- Responsible for providing unrivalled client satisfaction and continuously improving the department’s performance to clients (internal and external) year-on-year as part of the Regulatory Reporting team.
- Provides leadership and guidance to staff, in both onshore and offshore locations, fostering an environment which encourages participation, teamwork, and communication.
- Cultivates and maintains working relationships with relationship managers to ensure client account activity are meeting client needs.
- Assist the team with the development of procedures for the running of Regulatory Reporting with an emphasis on ensuring that the solutions are being run in the most efficient way.
- To conduct performance reviews for the team as required, and to be proactive in the development and training needs of self and the team.
- Act as an SME on the technical operation of the Northern Trust Regulatory reporting department.
- Keep abreast of industry and regulatory developments.
What you'll need to succeed
- Fund Administration/Regulatory/Finance operational background is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Contributes, promotes, and adopts new ideas and approaches.
- Confident, well-balanced and resilient, displays drive and energy directed to the achievement of well-defined goals
- Planning and organisation skills demonstrate the best use of resources.
- The ability to review and resolve complex issues against challenging deadlines.
- Experience of representing businesses to current clients via presentations.
- Experience of managing teams and delegating responsibility.
- Excellent IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel
