Your New Role
In your new role as Rail Project Director, you will assume the Project Director role on multidisciplinary transportation projects and a Project Manager role on major railway infrastructure projects.
Additional responsibilities include:
  • Contract/Commercial management ownership.
  • Liaising with Engineering Directors/Managers to successfully manage the design process.
  • Line management and mentoring of more junior staff, including Senior Project Managers.
  • Developing tender proposals, leading bids and winning new commissions.

What You Need to Succeed
  • Educated to degree level (level 8/9 engineering degree).
  • Relevant years of postgraduate experience, primarily in a consultancy environment.
  • Chartered with Engineers Ireland or equivalent professional institution.
  • Experience in the delivery of multidisciplinary infrastructure projects in Ireland/UK.
  • Experience managing contracts on behalf of clients as Employers Representative or NEC Project Manager.
  • Experience of all stages of a project life cycle.
  • Ability to manage a multidisciplinary design team.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, delivery partners and team members to ensure successful results and effective delivery.
  • Confidence to challenge the status quo and think outside the box.
  • Effective communicator (written, verbal & presentations).
  • A willingness to develop and build client relationships.
  • Full driving licence.
