Your new role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial delivery of high-value engineering projects, working closely with senior commercial staff and operational teams to ensure strong cost control and financial performance.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of cost plans, budgets, and project forecasts

• Supporting subcontractor procurement, tendering, and contract administration

• Monitoring project costs and identifying opportunities for value engineering

• Preparing valuations, variations, and supporting final accounts

• Working closely with site and engineering teams to ensure commercial targets are achieved

• Assisting with financial reporting and providing accurate commercial updates.

• Supporting risk management and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations

• Travel overseas when required as some projects are based in mainland Europe
  
  This role provides strong exposure across full project life cycles and offers a clear pathway towards Senior Quantity Surveyor level.

What you'll need to succeed

• At least 3–5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

• Experience in construction, engineering, or industrial projects

• Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills

• Good communication and teamwork capabilities

• Motivated and keen to progress in a fast-paced environment
