Your new role
As a Python Developer, you will leverage your skills to develop and implement business rules within a pricing system, enhance test automation processes, manage code releases, and document technical logic. You will collaborate closely with the team and gain exposure to ongoing data science initiatives.
- Develop and implement logic using SQL and Python to apply business rules and create automated tests within a pricing system.
- Manage code through various development stages, including merges and branch management.
- Document technical logic and processes clearly.
- Maintain high standards of quality in design and coding deliverables.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to address challenges.
- Work independently with focus and discipline when required.
- Analyse large datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies.
- Follow established solution delivery methodologies and standards
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
- Experience with delivering changes to production systems, including familiarity with iterative development methods, deployment processes, version control, and testing best practices.
- Proficiency with code repository management tools.
- Solid experience in data analysis and problem-solving.
- Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and container technologies.
