Job Title: Senior Python Developer – Contract Role

Location: Dublin (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)
Type: 6-Month Rolling Contract
Day Rate: €500 – €550 per day
Eligibility: Candidates must hold a Stamp 4 visa or EU passport

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with strong enterprise-level experience to join our dynamic and collaborative team. This is a contract role suited for someone who has worked on large-scale systems, not just scripting or isolated AI/ML projects.

The successful candidate will contribute to designing, developing, and deploying high-performance, secure, and scalable backend systems using Python and enterprise web frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop robust Python-based backend applications and services
• Build scalable APIs using Django, FastAPI, or Flask
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a distributed systems environment
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.
• Own features end-to-end and demonstrate accountability for deliverables
• Engage in peer code reviews and mentor junior developers when needed
• Work with SQL databases and ensure data integrity and performance

Key Requirements
• Minimum 4–5 years of exclusive hands-on experience in Python development
• Experience working on large-scale, enterprise-grade applications
• Proficiency in one or more Python frameworks: Django, FastAPI, or Flask
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
• Experience working in distributed systems or cloud-native architectures
• Good understanding of unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD practices
• Solid grasp of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills, proactive mindset, and strong sense of ownership
• Working knowledge of SQL

• Frontend development experience using React.js with Redux
• Exposure to platforms like Quartz or similar banking/market systems
• Familiarity with OTC Financial Products, Markets, or Banking domain experience
