Site Manager – Large Residential Project – Cork

You will be joining a Tier 1 main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential developments across Ireland. This company is known for its commitment to excellence, safety, and innovation, and is currently expanding its operations in the Cork region due to a growing project pipeline.

Your new role

As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of a large-scale residential construction site in Cork. You will oversee all on-site activities, ensuring that the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your duties will include:
  • Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and direct labour
  • Managing site logistics and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Monitoring progress and reporting to the Project Manager
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, and suppliers
  • Ensuring quality control and adherence to design specification

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Site Manager or similar role, ideally on residential or mixed-use developments
  • A relevant construction-related qualification (e.g., Construction Management, Engineering, or Trade background)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors and deliver projects to tight deadlines
  • A valid Safe Pass and other relevant site certifications (e.g., CIF, manual handling)
