Project Manager - North Dublin / Meath based role

Your new company

This company is one of Ireland’s most respected and long‑established building and property development companies, with a heritage dating back to 1962. Over more than six decades, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering high‑quality residential and commercial developments across Dublin and the Greater Leinster region. They have played a key role in shaping modern Irish communities. Their commitment to excellence is underpinned by a focus on design innovation, long‑term sustainability, and creating environments that enrich both living and working experiences.

Your new role

In this role, you will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage subcontractors, and work closely with internal stakeholders including design, commercial, and site management teams. You will be responsible for developing and tracking project programmes, monitoring progress on site, and ensuring all works comply with regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of residential and commercial development projects, ensuring all works are completed on time, within budget, and to Park Developments’ industry‑leading quality standards.
  • Develop, manage, and track detailed project programmes, identifying risks early and implementing mitigation strategies to maintain key milestones.
  • Coordinate and oversee multidisciplinary internal and external teams, including design consultants, site management, subcontractors, and commercial teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage procurement planning, including tender evaluations, contractor appointments, materials scheduling, and long‑lead item coordination.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental management systems, supporting Park Developments’ accredited ISO standards.
  • Review and manage design information, resolving technical queries through collaboration with architects, engineers, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor construction progress and site performance, undertaking regular site inspections, reporting on programme adherence, and addressing any issues impacting delivery.
  • Maintain strong communication and documentation standards, producing accurate reports, chairing project meetings, and ensuring all project records are kept up to date.
  • Support commercial management, including variation reviews, cost tracking, value engineering, and ensuring projects are delivered with financial efficiency.
  • Drive excellence in quality assurance, overseeing snag management, inspections, and final handover to ensure every completed unit meets the company’s long‑standing reputation for premium standards.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven experience managing large‑scale residential or commercial construction projects, ideally within a developer or main contractor environment.
  • Strong project planning and programme management skills, with the ability to anticipate risks, drive progress, and maintain tight control of timelines.
  • Excellent stakeholder coordination abilities, working effectively with design teams, consultants, contractors, commercial teams, and local authorities.
  • A deep understanding of construction methodologies, regulations, and best practices, with the capability to interpret technical drawings and resolve complex issues.
  • Strong commercial awareness, supporting cost control, value engineering, procurement decisions, and contractual understanding.
  • A commitment to quality, safety, and environmental standards, aligning with Park Developments’ ISO‑accredited management systems.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills, enabling you to guide teams, chair meetings, provide clear direction, and maintain positive working relationships across all levels.
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset, with the ability to maintain momentum and ensure project targets are achieved.
  • Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, with additional professional certifications considered an advantage.

What you'll get in return

You will be involved in managing top-class developments from start to finish whilst working with a team of leading construction professionals with a strong future pipeline of work. You will be rewarded with a salary ranging between €90,000 - €110,000 depending on experience. You will receive a competitive company pension contribution and a discretionary bonus which would depend on performance.

There will be opportunities for career progression and professional growth and educational assistance can be offered if desired. They also offer assistance with healthcare at a reduced rate for employees including income insurance. You will receive 25 annual leave days plus all public holidays off. You will also have the opportunity to gain further exposure to both commercial and residential developments while working with other leading construction companies in the Irish industry.

This is essentially a career for life for the right candidate.
