Project Manager – Head of Customer Service

Project Manager – MES Customer Service

Your New Role
Reporting to the Head of MES Customer Services EMEA (Dublin), the Project Manager will play a key role in delivering engine maintenance projects and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
This position requires a balance of technical understanding (engineering background) and strong customer service expertise, managing projects from initial enquiry through to completion.

Responsibilities
Customer & Contract Management
  • Manage customer enquiries and oversee the full lifecycle of individual service contracts
  • Prepare and issue commercial proposals aligned to MES service offerings
  • Calculate pricing, negotiate terms, and finalise contracts in collaboration with sales teams.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing customer accounts
Project & Event Coordination
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers across all maintenance events
  • Plan and coordinate engine inductions for both mobile repairs and workshop activities
  • Define and agree on the scope of work with customers and internal teams
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring clear and consistent communication with stakeholders
Technical & Commercial Oversight
  • Coordinate technical and commercial topics including scope changes, spare parts, and service extensions
  • Track project timelines, costs, and quality to ensure successful delivery
  • Provide regular status updates and performance reporting
Operational & Workload Planning
  • Support repair station workload management through prioritisation of incoming requests
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimise resource allocation and scheduling
Order & Supplier Management
  • Manage internal and external orders, including suppliers and repair facilities
  • Ensure delivery against agreed scope, cost, lead time, and quality standards
  • Conduct post-event analysis to identify improvements and efficiencies
Financial & Invoice Management
  • Prepare and issue invoices in line with agreed contracts
  • Support the resolution of invoice queries and outstanding payments
  • Maintain oversight of financial performance for each project
Customer Relationship Management
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through regular engagement, reviews, and feedback
  • Conduct customer meetings and post-project evaluations
  • Proactively identify opportunities for additional services

What You Will Need to Succeed
  • Engineering background (essential)
  • Strong experience in a customer-facing/project management role
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing contracts and budgets
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
  • Experience in aviation, MRO, or a technical services environment is advantageous.
