Your new role

  • Ensuring works are delivered safely, in compliance with statutory requirements and company health & safety systems.
  • Overseeing procurement strategies, subcontractor performance and supply‑chain coordination.
  • Managing project budgets, forecasting, cost control and commercial risk in conjunction with the commercial team.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for the client, design team and key stakeholders.
  • Chairing progress meetings and issuing clear, structured project reports to senior management.
  • Driving quality assurance processes and ensuring all works meet specification and regulatory standards.
  • Managing change, resolving issues proactively, and implementing recovery measures where required.
  • Leading project close‑out, commissioning, documentation, and successful final handover.
What you’ll need to succeed

  • A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related construction discipline.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering medium to large‑scale construction projects.
  • Strong technical understanding of construction methodology, sequencing, and coordination of trades.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and drive performance in a live project environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of health & safety regulations and best‑practice site management.
  • Experience managing programmes, budgets, and commercial risk.
  • Strong communication, organisational and decision‑making skills.
  • Proficiency in project planning and reporting tools.
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused approach with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
What you’ll get in return

  • Opportunity to work on high‑profile, technically challenging construction projects.
  • A collaborative, professional working environment with strong leadership and support.
  • Long‑term career progression within a stable and respected contractor.
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
  • Ongoing professional development and support to further advance your career.
