Project Accountant
Leading Irish organisation with a national remit require a Qualified Accountant with Project accounting experience to join their Head Office finance team at an exciting time of growth and development.
Reporting to a Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on spend for various capital expenditure projects, financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting.

Leading Irish organisation with a national remit require a Qualified Accountant with Project accounting experience to join their Head Office finance team at an exciting time of growth and development.
Reporting to a Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on spend for various capital expenditure projects, financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting.
Key Tasks will include:
- Review and present periodic financial results of projects to the senior management team, providing feedback and insights.
- Monitor project spend against budgets
- Support the management team in financial performance reviews
- Lead the annual budgeting process for the capital projects
- Prepare quarterly & annual regulatory reports
- Contribute to the internal and external audit processes.
- Stakeholder management (internal & external)
- Process improvement
Ideally, you will be a Qualified Accountant with 3–5 years pqe, with strong commercial acumen, proven stakeholder management skills, who possesses good Excel skills (v-look-up/pivot table level), along with project accounting experience.
Salary €70K–€80K (depending on experience)
Benefits include Pension, Bonus, 25 days holiday, Professional membership fees paid, Hybrid working (2 days in the office), a very pleasant working environment.
Initially an 18-month contract, there is a chance this role might open the door to other roles within the organisation.
