Your new role

As Project Accountant, you will join a large finance team of professionals and play a key role in ensuring accurate project profitability reporting. You will:

• Issue weekly and monthly cost and revenue reports, providing analysis on trends and movements
• Present monthly updates to senior stakeholders on revenue, costs, and margins
• Partner with commercial teams to monitor project spending, track costs, and provide insight on projections
• Manage contract/revenue accounting including WIP and revenue recognition
• Support the development of new reporting tools using Power BI
• Build credibility and strong relationships with site teams to challenge assumptions and ensure accurate project assessments

This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to the CFO, Finance Directors, and Commercial Director, offering significant responsibility and room for growth.

What you'll need to succeed

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
• 1–2 years PQE depending on level/experience
• Strong communicator with the personality to work closely alongside senior leadership
• Driven, ambitious, and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, financial modelling) and experience with Power BI
• Commercial awareness and adaptability to changing business environments
