Senior Programme Manager – 12-Month Contract
Location: Dublin
Department: Risk and Finance Technology
Contract Type: Fixed-Term (12 months)
Day Rate: €525–€600 (depending on experience)
Overview
The Risk and Finance Technology group is seeking a Senior Programme Manager to support a range of delivery projects across multiple business functions. This role requires a blend of programme management, business analysis, and PMO support. The successful candidate may also contribute to Dublin Dev Lab initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Programme & Project Management
- Build and manage relationships with business project managers and stakeholders.
- Develop delivery plans and budgets.
- Track and report on project progress, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID).
- Resolve conflicts and address delivery challenges.
- Prepare governance updates and presentation packs.
- Ensure project artefacts meet required standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Adhere to the bank’s Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards.
- Collaborate with scrum masters and delivery teams to ensure milestones are met.
2. Process Improvement
- Support and execute improvement initiatives related to delivery processes.
3. Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
- Collaborate with developers, BAs, testers, and Risk Technology stakeholders.
- Gather and document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Produce relevant project documentation and artefacts.
- Act as a liaison between business, upstream tech teams, and developers.
- Validate designs against business requirements.
- Design test strategies and prepare test cases.
- Participate in and support testing activities.
Required Skills & Experience
- Project Management: 5+ years of experience with a proven delivery track record.
- Business Analysis: 3+ years of experience in requirements gathering and documentation.
- Financial Services: Strong understanding of financial products, processes, and terminology.
- Technical Background: Exposure to software development and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities.
- Education: Degree/Master’s or equivalent experience.
