Production Operative role with leading Cork based manufacturing company

This client is a key supply-chain partner to leading global technology manufacturers, providing precision fasteners, engineered components, and tailored assembly solutions. As part of our continued growth supporting operations, we are seeking a committed Production Operative to join our Waterfall kit‑building team.


Your new role

As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for assembling hardware kits to exacting quality standards. Working within a structured environment, you will follow defined build processes, complete required documentation, and help maintain our strong reputation for reliability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble kits and component packs in line with work instructions and quality standards.
  • Pick, verify, and label all required parts accurately.
  • Follow SOPs, build documentation, and visual standards.
  • Carry out quality checks and ensure all outputs meet zero‑defect expectations.
  • Maintain a clean, organised workstation aligned with 5S and LEAN principles.
  • Safely use basic hand tools such as torque tools, screwdrivers, and scanners.
  • Complete all relevant documentation, checklists, and system entries accurately.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a similar production environment.
  • Ability to follow step‑by‑step instructions and work to time targets.
  • Good manual dexterity and confidence working with tools and small components.
  • Basic PC skills; experience with Excel, Outlook, and Teams is an advantage.
  • Experience with Zebra printers or Microsoft Business Central is beneficial.
  • Strong team player with a positive, cooperative approach.
  • Quality‑focused with excellent attention to detail.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to meeting performance targets.
  • Good time management and a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines and quotas.
