Part-Qualified Practice Accountant required for a Semi-senior role in Dublin. Up To €43,000

Your new company

This medium-sized practice firm are growing their client base and are seeking to hire an experienced part qualified Accountant to join the team. This firm work with a number of industries and company sizes, facilitating the growth and development of their staff. Based in South Dublin Central, the office is easily accessible from a number of transport routes, including Luas, bus and trains.


Your new role

You will work alongside experienced qualified partners and managers and service a number of clients from various industries across Ireland.

Your general duties will include but not be limited to :
  • Preparation of final monthly management accounts packs for clients
  • Payroll processing.
  • Preparing draft Company secretarial filings for review and submitting final versions to CRO.
  • Audit preparation
  • Taxation : VAT, VIAS and others
  • General bookkeeping
  • Training and mentoring junior and trainee accountants when required
  • Ad-hoc reporting/analysis as required.
  • Conduct client meetings on a regular basis
  • Work closely with managers and partners; other ad-hoc duties may be required.

What you'll need to succeed

You must have previous experience working in a practice firm or client accounting role. Those without previous experience in practice will now be considered. This role is not a trainee level. However, this firm do take in trainee level staff at certain times within the year which will be advertised separately.

To be considered, you will ideally have :
  • Exposure to XERO or similar systems
  • ACCA, ACA, CPA or similarly part qualified
  • 2–4 Years' experience in a practice firm
  • Experience in audit preparation, accounts preparation to trial balance and taxation
  • Ability to work well on your own initiative
  • Full EEA passport or working visa
  • Fluent written and spoken English

You will be offered a competitive market salary of up to €43,000 based on your level of experience. This role offers full study support and training plan to reach your next goal and qualify as an accountant. You will be eligible for hybrid working once settled in.
