Your new company

This practice firm are seeking an experienced, part-qualified accountant to join the team. Those applying must have previous experience working in a medium or large size Irish practice firm and have a strong understanding of year-end, taxation and legislation. This firm are a well-established, medium-sized practice with varied clients of all sizes and industries.

This is a non-audit role.
The office is located in Ashbourne, Co. Meath, offering 4 days in office and 1 day from home as standard. Parking available on site.

Your new role

This role is focused on accounts production for clients from start to finish. You will work with a variety of client types and sizes and be responsible for all facets of accounts production.

• Prepare accounts to review for a variety of clients
• Produce statutory financial statements
• Tax returns – CTO, VAT, Payroll etc
• Meeting with clients both in person and virtually
• General admin, filing and document control

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered, you must be well versed in Irish statutory requirements and have at least 1.5 - 2 years' experience in another practice role.

Requirements

• Previous SME practice or client accounting exposure essential.
• Part Qualified accountant or working towards qualification
• Ability to work well on your own initiative
• Strong VAT and other taxation knowledge
• Ability to produce accounts to review stage in a standalone capacity.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to easily relay complex financial data to non-finance professionals and international clients
• Ambitious and future-focused attitude
