Your new company

This corporate services company have been operating in the Irish market for over 3 decades and are seeking to expand their central Dublin office in the coming weeks. This organisation offer a variety of services to their clients, at a top service level, from company formation, taxation, bookkeeping, year-end and audit services and consultation. This role offers ample room for development, growth and further opportunities.


Your new role

This role will focus on statutory accounting on behalf of clients. Your client base will vary, but focus on multinationals entering the Irish market and start-ups.

Your duties will include

  • Prepare accounts to sign off-stage
  • Produce statutory financial statements
  • Tax returns – CTO, VAT, Payroll etc
  • Audit preparation.
  • Meeting with clients both in person and virtually
  • General admin, filing and document controlling
  • Future opportunities to expand into other consulting and support functions within leadership and board-level roles.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered, you must be well versed in Irish statutory requirements and have ample client accounting experience from previous roles.

Requirements
  • Previous SME practice or client accounting exposure essential.
  • Ability to work well on your own initiative
  • Strong VAT and other taxation knowledge
  • Previous audit experience desired but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to easily relay complex financial data to non-finance professionals and international clients
  • Ambitious and future-focused attitude


What you'll get in return

This role offers a salary up to €46,000 depending on level of experience and support for further education where required. Hybrid work is available once settled in and the current set up is 2 days from home once settled in. The office is centrally located in Dublin city and easily accessible from various modes of public transport.
