Your new company is a leading organisation in the environmental and sustainability sector and is seeking a Senior PR & Events Executive to support its mission of promoting responsible resource management and public engagement. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape public perception and drive awareness through strategic PR initiatives and impactful events.
Your new role
This is a highly collaborative and varied position, working across both B2B and B2C audiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive PR and events strategy, ensuring consistent brand messaging and tone of voice across all communications. The role involves close coordination with internal teams and external partners to execute high-quality activations and campaigns.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic PR and events plan aligned with organisational goals.
- Manage a calendar of events including launches, conferences, stakeholder forums, and consumer shows.
- Collaborate with PR agencies to identify media opportunities and evaluate campaign performance.
- Design and deliver event activation plans, including branded materials, signage, and interactive content.
- Work closely with digital marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Repurpose PR content for digital platforms such as websites, blogs, social media, and newsletters.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure integrated planning and execution.
- Monitor and manage PR and events budgets to ensure cost-effective delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
- A qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a marketing role, ideally with a focus on PR and events.
- Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
