Your new company

Your new organisation is a well-established and purpose-led charity operating at the heart of Dublin. Through a wide range of services including prevention, addiction treatment, emergency response and housing supports, they work collaboratively with partners to deliver real change.
The organisation places a strong emphasis on best practice HR, staff wellbeing, learning and development, and inclusive decision-making. Their people are genuinely regarded as their greatest asset, and the culture reflects this at every level.

Your new role
As HR Business Partner, you’ll report directly to the HR Manager and act as a trusted advisor to line managers across the organisation. This is a broad, hands-on role combining strategic HR partnering with operational delivery.
A key element of the position is payroll preparation and administration, ensuring staff are paid accurately and on time — a core component of the employee experience. You’ll also be heavily involved in employee relations, HR policy implementation, HR reporting, onboarding/offboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.
You’ll work closely with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development colleagues as part of a collaborative HR function and will have real scope to influence and improve people practices across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Partnering with assigned business areas and building strong stakeholder relationships
  • End-to-end payroll preparation and administration
  • Advising managers on employee relations matters, including performance, disciplinaries and grievances.
  • Ensuring HR policies and practices are fully compliant with Irish employment legislation
  • Managing HRIS data integrity and producing monthly HR metrics and reports
  • Driving onboarding and offboarding processes, including exit interviews and analysis
  • Supporting employee engagement initiatives, surveys and events
  • Contributing to audits, change programmes and ongoing HR improvements
What you'll need to succeed
  • A third-level qualification in HRM, HRD or a related discipline (CIPD Desirable).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an HR role, with strong exposure to employee relations and HR operations.
  • Proven payroll preparation and administration experience, with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • An organised, data-driven approach with a keen eye for detail.
What you'll get in return
  • Permanent contract with long-term career stability with the opportunity to work in a values-led organisation where your work genuinely makes a difference.
  • Hybrid working model (office-based in Smithfield, Dublin 7)
  • 25 days annual leave
  • 5% employer-matched pension contribution
