Part-time Payroll specialist required – Salary to 50k pro rata (€25 per hour) Permanent – 20–25 hours per week
Your new company
This organisation is within the retail industry, with an office based in Dublin 12. They are seeking to add to their HR and finance team. The role offers 20–25 hours per week, with flexibility on hours and days worked. The office is easily located by luas and car with parking on site. This role requires full working rights for Ireland and any applicants must have 5+ years experience processing Irish payroll. If you have not worked in payroll in the Irish market for 5+ years, this is not a suitable role, but you can keep an eye out for other opportunities and apply for future, more suitable roles.
Your new role
You will be tasked with end-to-end payroll production and benefit in kind administration. Duties expanded below
- Weekly and monthly payroll preparation and processing for up to 300 staff
- Adding new starters to payroll
- Processing leavers
- Benefits in kind : Pension, Company cars, VHI and bonus admin
- Responsible for the timely addressing of payroll queries
- Revenue submissions
- Processing temp payroll for shorter term staff
- Timesheet processing
- HR Admin assistance
- General finance assistance if required
What you'll need to succeed
You must have experience processing payroll within Ireland, or for Irish companies.
- 5+ Years experience processing payroll
- Experience using systems such as Micropay or Sage desired
- IPASS qualification a distinct advantage
- Previous knowledge of benefit in kind, including VHI or other similar healthcare package.
- Ability to work well on your own initiative
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a competitive salary of up to €50,000 pro rata / circa €25 per hour. This role offers around 20 hours per week and is flexible on hours and days worked.
