This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a busy, multi-entity payroll function that values accuracy, teamwork, and continuous improvement. The organisation offers a supportive environment with opportunities for professional development and flexible working arrangements.

Your new role

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for a range of payroll administration and processing duties. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely completion of weekly and monthly payroll runs across various staff groupings. Your responsibilities will include:

  • End-to-end payroll processing, including data collation, input, and reconciliation.
  • Managing Revenue Payment Notifications (RPNs), payroll submissions/returns via ROS, and uploads to the General Ledger.
  • Providing cover for payroll runs during team absences.
  • Responding to payroll-related queries from staff and departments.
  • Completing payroll-related forms (e.g., salary certificates, social protection forms).
  • Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders on payroll matters.
  • Supporting system upgrades and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assisting with internal and external audit queries.

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a large, multi-entity payroll function.
  • Experience in payroll and familiarity with payroll software (advantageous).
  • An IPASS qualification (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
Training will be provided for specific duties, and once onboarding is complete, you’ll have the option to work remotely up to 2 days per week.

What you'll get in return

  • A competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Flexible working options, including hybrid work arrangements.
  • Opportunities for professional development and training.
  • A supportive and inclusive team environment.
  • The chance to contribute to meaningful work within a respected institution.
