A well-established organisation within the public sector is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a busy and collaborative payroll team. With a team of seven, the organisation offers a structured environment and the opportunity to gain valuable experience within a large-scale payroll function.
Your new role
Supporting monthly payroll cycles
Managing payroll-related queries
Carrying out ad hoc payroll tasks as required
Working across various systems and core payroll platforms
Supporting public sector payroll processes
This role does not involve completing payroll end-to-end, but rather contributing to a broader team-based process.
What you'll need to succeed
IPASS is desirable and a distinct advantage.
Previous payroll experience (preferably within a structured or public sector environment)
Strong understanding of payroll processes (pre- and post-tax)
Experience working with payroll systems
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills and ability to handle queries effectively
Ability to work collaboratively within a team

As Payroll Administrator, you will support the delivery of monthly payroll operations, working alongside experienced team members and management. This role involves payroll processing, handling payroll queries, and supporting core payroll activities.
Key responsibilities include:
Processing Payroll and ad hoc payroll activitiesSupporting monthly payroll cycles
Managing payroll-related queries
Carrying out ad hoc payroll tasks as required
Working across various systems and core payroll platforms
Supporting public sector payroll processes
This role does not involve completing payroll end-to-end, but rather contributing to a broader team-based process.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you will have:
IPASS is desirable and a distinct advantage.
