Your new company
This organisation have been operational for a number of years and are a household name across Ireland. They continue growing and expanding and are currently seeking a part-qualified accountant to join the team. The office is based in Oldcaslte, Co. Meath, which is easily accessible from a number of neighbouring counties. This role is an office-based role with ample training, support for studies and opportunity to gain exposure to all facets of the finance function.Your new role
You will be tasked with duties such as, but not limited to -
- High volume invoice processing (AR & AP)
- Month-end accounts preparation
- VAT and other tax returns
- Financial reporting
- Profit and loss
- Reconciliations
- Supplier account creation
- Query resolution
- Assistance with payroll where cover is required
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA or similar) or working towards a part-qualification. You must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in previous roles in the Irish market, gaining exposure to the above duties. Experience working in the manufacturing or retail industry is an advantage but not necessary. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well on your own initiative, and prioritise work. Given the location, you must hold a driving licence and your own transport as the office is not well serviced by public transport.
