Part Qualified Accountant Opportunity with an established company. Mayo-based, but commutable from Roscommon.

Your new role

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances
  • Prepare journals, accruals, and prepayments
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and support audit preparation
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements

What you'll need to succeed

  • Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent)
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar finance role
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Sage, or similar)
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
