Operations project manager

The Regulatory Relations Manager is responsible for maintaining relationships and interactions with regulators through the execution of the overall strategy for regulatory engagement and enterprise-wide standards. This includes managing regulatory examinations, enquiries, and meetings.

Your new role

As a Regulatory Relations Manager, you will:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between regulators and internal business/control functions.
  • Build strong partnerships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to drive strategic regulatory engagement.
  • Manage and direct all aspects of regulatory exams to ensure consistent practices and reduce risk exposure.
  • Respond to regulatory enquiries, manage supervision meetings, and prepare regulatory responses.
  • Track, report, and escalate regulatory activities and emerging risks.
  • Partner with colleagues to share best practices and identify regulatory themes.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for regulator relationships.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience: 7+ years in risk management, regulatory engagement, or enterprise-wide roles.
  • Skills: Strategic thinking, relationship building, problem-solving, and strong communication skills.
  • Attributes: High attention to detail, organisational strength, ability to work under pressure, and adaptability.
  • Technical: Proven project management and process design skills; ability to navigate complex, matrixed environments.
