Office Administrator – Up to €35,000 DOE - Dublin City Centre

Your new company

A well-established engineering and project-focused consultancy based in Dublin is seeking an Office Administrator to support its busy team. This role has evolved from a front-of-office position into a broader administrative support function, offering exposure to project coordination and document management. Experience in document control would be advantageous, though not essential.

Your new role

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support across the office
  • Assist with project administration, including setting up job numbers and maintaining records
  • Support document management processes, including handling drawings, reports, and project files
  • Manage incoming correspondence, including emails and post
  • Maintain and update internal databases and project tracking systems
  • Support accounts administration, including petty cash and ad hoc finance tasks
  • Coordinate couriers and assist with logistics for document distribution
  • Oversee office supplies, including ordering and stock management
  • Ensure the office remains organised and compliant with internal quality procedures
  • Provide general administrative assistance to various departments as required


What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in an administrative or office support role
  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to use initiative
  • Experience with document control or project administration is beneficial but not essential.
  • Previous experience in an engineering, construction, or project-based environment is advantageous.
