Your New Role
We are seeking an experienced Multi‑Skilled Technician with a strong electrical background to support the ongoing maintenance and operational needs of a confidential client on a private estate. This role involves delivering high‑quality, hands‑on technical support across a variety of building systems, ensuring the estate remains safe, functional, and always well‑maintained.
The successful candidate will carry out preventative and reactive maintenance, diagnose and resolve technical issues, and support wider estate operations as required. While electrical expertise is essential, the role also requires a flexible, multi‑discipline skill set across general building services, such as basic mechanical, plumbing, and fabric work.
Responsibilities
Electrical Duties
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems, lighting, outlets, switches, and panels.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults promptly and safely.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local codes and safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
General Maintenance Duties
- Carry out general household maintenance and minor repairs (e.g., plumbing fixes, painting, carpentry, fixtures).
- Maintain and repair appliances, HVAC-related components, and household systems where qualified.
- Coordinate with external contractors when specialist work is required.
- Conduct regular property checks to identify maintenance issues before they escalate.
What You Will Need to Succeed
- Licenced or certified electrician (as required by local regulations).
- Proven experience in residential electrical work.
- Demonstrated general maintenance or handyman experience.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and building codes.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
