Microsoft Endpoint & Identity Engineer (M365 / In tune / Autopilot)

Microsoft Endpoint Engineer (In tune / M365) – Contract
Location: Newbridge (2 days on-site, occasional travel to Edenderry) Duration: 6 months (until year-end) Rate: €450–€500 per day
Overview
Seeking a Microsoft Endpoint Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft 365, In tune, and modern endpoint management. This role will play a key part in supporting and enhancing a modern workplace environment, with a focus on device management, security, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and optimise Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager)
  • Design and support device enrolment and life cycle management strategies
  • Implement and support:
    • Windows Autopilot
    • Windows Hello for Business
  • Manage:
    • Device compliance policies
    • Configuration profiles
    • Application deployment
  • Integrate endpoint management solutions with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Support identity and access controls, including Conditional Access and device-based access policies
  • Troubleshoot:
    • Endpoint and device issues
    • Enrolment and policy-related problems
  • Contribute to modern workplace initiatives, including:
    • Device standardisation
    • Security posture improvements
  • Produce documentation and provide design input and knowledge transfer
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in Microsoft infrastructure / modern workplace environments
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager
    • Microsoft 365 / Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Strong experience managing:
    • Device policies and compliance
    • Application deployment
  • Proven troubleshooting skills across endpoint and identity domains
Desirable Experience
  • End-to-end experience with Windows Autopilot
  • Experience implementing Windows Hello for Business
  • Understanding of identity and access governance
  • Experience delivering endpoint transformation or modernisation projects
