Here in Hays we have a great opportunity for Microbiology Analysts within our Scientific Services' client in their Product Lab,Environmental Monitoring Laband Water Laboratory.

Our client is a leading contract laboratory services provider specialised in testing and research services in the environmental, pharmaceutical, and biopharmaceutical sciences to world-renowned clients worldwide.

JOB DESCRIPTION :
The purpose of this job is to perform scientific procedures and produce accurate results within the required time frame under the customer quality system, using customer company procedures, and while adhering to general policies and standards.

If you have the skills listed below, together with a degree in Microbiology or a related discipline and at least 1 – 3 years experience within a GMP Microbiology laboratory, we'd love to hear from you.

• Microbiology In-Process and Final Product Testing (Bioburden/Endotoxin in particular)
• Environmental Monitoring
• Method Transfer/Validation (Bioburden/Endotoxin)
• Water Utilities Testing
• Method Updates/Report Writing (Micro)
• Knowledge of LIMS and Trackwise would be a distinct advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participating in all training required and scheduled by the group leader or the customer. Being prepared and on time for that training. Engaging in training processes and ensuring all information received is completely understood.
• Completion of training records and ensuring that all records presented for review and approval are at the appropriate standard.
• Performing routine and non-routine analysis, as requested by the Group Leader or customer representative.
• Preparing and approving results for tests in which they have received the appropriate training and are deemed competent.
