Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine checks and upkeep of mechanical, electrical, and other building systems to ensure smooth operation.
  • Assist in upgrading or adjusting equipment and infrastructure within the facility.
  • Review assigned maintenance tasks, assess required time and materials, and log progress using internal systems.
  • Contribute to energy efficiency efforts by ensuring systems are functioning optimally.
  • Manage stock levels of tools, components, and supplies necessary for maintenance activities.
  • Examine current installations to confirm they meet safety standards and building regulations.
  • Apply established procedures to resolve straightforward technical issues, with limited scope for independent decision-making.
  • Responsibilities are clearly outlined, with tasks and methods defined in detail.
  • Complete assigned duties by following structured processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You Will Need to Succeed
  • QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft – Plumbing
  • Previous experience working on large-scale Data Centre / Pharmaceutical / Industrial projects.
  • Equivalent combinations of training and experience may also be considered.
  • Physically capable of performing duties such as bending, standing for extended periods, walking, climbing ladders or stairs, and lifting items weighing 50 lbs (23 kg) or more.
  • Able to follow standard procedures and routines in daily tasks.
  • Familiarity with common office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email platforms.
  • Well-organised with a proactive and curious approach to learning and problem-solving.
