Mechanical Foreman & Mechanical Site Manager roles available in Galway.
Our client provides quality mechanical services to all sectors of the construction industry across Ireland. They are now seeking to recruit a Mechanical Foreman and a Mechanical Site Manager for a large project in Galway.

Your new role
Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading on-site team with close management and supervision of all staff
  • Ensuring company policies and procedures are always adhered to by staff on site
  • Ensuring all H&S regulations are always obeyed
  • To maintain detailed accurate site records
  • Ensuring work is carried out in accordance with best practice and complies with all relevant regulations.
  • Co-ordinating work with other subcontractors as required
  • Attending site meetings and troubleshooting as necessary
The Candidate:
  • 3+ years' previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably within the commercial, industrial, pharma / medical device or similar sectors.
  • Plumbing certification essential
  • A good understanding and knowledge of the HVAC and/or piping industry is an advantage.
  • Interpret schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Good knowledge of health and safety requirements
  • A rounded knowledge of risk and compliance and demonstrable planning and project management skills
  • Excellent time management and organisation
  • Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Excellent leadership skills and a team player
  • Creative approach to problem-solving
  • Hands-on approach
