Mechanical Engineering Coordinator - Design Experience Required

Your New Company
Your new company is a medium-sized M&E and public health engineering contractor specialising in design and build contracting. In producing high-end, cost-effective and compliant solutions, they have developed strong relationships with their clients.
With a busy 2026 approaching, they are actively hiring a mechanical design engineer and on-site coordinator to join their team.

Your New Role
This role is for an individual who is not only proficient in the mechanical design process but also demonstrates the leadership qualities required to guide their projects to success, maintain our high standards, and nurture their culture of innovation.
Working across healthcare, hospitality, and commercial projects, you will be a key figure in leading in design meetings, ensuring designs are compliant and delivered on time, and guiding teams onsite to overcome emergent clashes and issues.

What You Need to Succeed
  • You will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, ideally with a Master’s degree and/or strong project management skills.
  • You have six years of experience in Building Services Consultancy Design.
  • Your expertise includes thermal modelling, energy assessments, BIM, and a strategic approach to commercial challenges.
  • You have a deep understanding of mechanical design in various systems and comprehensive knowledge of regulatory standards.
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects, you are adept at prioritising, planning, and executing with strategic precision.
