As they continue to grow, they are seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer.

Your new role
In your new role as Intermediate Mechanical Engineer, you will be expected to have a thorough understanding of the theoretical and practical application of your engineering discipline, and a strong understanding of the other disciplines offered by the company, while also contributing to and leading on Mechanical Design on projects of all sizes.
Your responsibilities:
  • Contribute to and lead on the full Mechanical Design on projects of all sizes, always demonstrating Client care.
  • Provide quality control for Mechanical Engineering projects across all offices.
  • Project cost control.
  • Management of both project teams and cross-functional teams within the organisational structure.
  • Travel to client and project locations as required to represent EDC for meetings/ surveys/training etc.
  • Liaise and collaborate with other EDC offices on all matters as appropriate.

What you will need to succeed
  • Minimum Degree level in Mechanical Engineering
  • 4+ years Building Services Consultancy Design experience.
  • Expert user of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with thermal modelling, energy assessment, and dynamic energy modelling software advantageous.
  • Commercial sector knowledge and BIM experience are a strong advantage.
  • Chartership Desirable.
