Your new company :

As a marketing and communications specialist, you will join a Tier 1 contractor headquartered in Galway for over 70. Our client provides a real opportunity for their employees to build their careers, develop their skills and grow as part of the team. You will join their team on a permanent basis.

Your new role :

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, focused, and ambitious professional to support the Marketing & Communications function. The successful candidate will support the Marketing & Communications Director in the development of the marketing strategy and the management of the Marketing & Communications plan. As the Marketing & Communications specialist, you will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing and communications roles, with a focus on strategy development and plan management and demonstrated success in guiding teams in day-to-day marketing and communications activity. A strong background in digital marketing, including advertising strategies, content creation, and channel development will be required as you will be responsible for driving brand management and building brand awareness. Experience in managing PR initiatives, multichannel advertising campaigns, media monitoring, and reputation management. Previous experience in business development, including lead generation and client presentations, as well as experience in stakeholder relationship management through satisfaction surveys, communications campaigns, and networking is a must. You must be familiar with ESG principles and reporting and familiarity with the construction industry, especially in prequalification processes, is a plus.

What you'll need to succeed :

A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Business, or related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong digital marketing skills, including proficiency in SEO, social media, and online advertising. Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office, and in particular Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in using the Adobe Creative Suite for day-to-day presentations and content creation. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Project management skills for overseeing campaigns and initiatives. The ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging. Strong leadership skills to guide and mentor the marketing and prequal teams. Analytical skills for measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Relationship-building skills to establish and nurture connections with stakeholders.
