Your New Company
Our client is a prominent property investment and development firm based in Dublin, focused on revitalising and delivering high-quality social housing throughout Ireland. Collaborating with local authorities, housing bodies, and private stakeholders, the company is dedicated to tackling Ireland’s housing challenges by upgrading older properties into modern, energy-efficient homes that meet rigorous compliance standards.
Your New Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-driven Maintenance & Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of property refurbishment and maintenance initiatives. This role suits someone with a solid educational background, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Clear communication and collaboration with both internal teams and external partners are essential.
The successful candidate will take ownership of projects from initial planning through to final delivery, ensuring high standards of quality, regulatory compliance, and timely completion. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a tangible impact in the housing sector while growing their career within a forward-thinking organisation.
Responsibilities
- Supervise maintenance teams and subcontractors across both reactive and scheduled works.
- Lead refurbishment projects from initial concept through to final handover.
- Serve as the primary liaison for internal departments, contractors, consultants, clients, and tenants.
- Contribute to project planning by defining clear goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues to maintain project momentum.
- Track contractor performance, site progress, and adherence to quality standards.
- Carry out regular site visits and address any emerging concerns promptly.
- Ensure all works comply with relevant planning laws, building regulations, and health & safety protocols.
- Coordinate with public sector representatives and other stakeholders on contracts, approvals, and permissions.
What You Will Need to Succeed
- At least 4 years of experience in maintenance coordination or project management, ideally within the residential property sector.
- Strong organisational skills paired with clear and confident communication.
- Capable of working autonomously, handling multiple priorities, and maintaining performance under pressure.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and adept at resolving issues efficiently.
- Degree in Project Management, Business, Construction Management, or related field.
- Experience working with local authorities, Approved Housing Bodies, or property management companies.
What You Will Receive
- Annual salary between €40K - €50K (DOE) + Excellent Benefits Package.
- An opportunity to join a purpose-driven organisation making a real impact on housing across Ireland.
- Access opportunities for career growth, ongoing training, and professional development.
- Work within a collaborative and energetic team where your contributions truly matter.
