As a logistics planner, you will manage & control in-& outbound ISO tanks on & off the Island of Ireland, including domestic traffic, in a safe & efficient manner.

Direct order taking from customers, managing all aspects “cradle to grave”.

Principal Accountabilities / Main functions:
Daily updating of traffic management system (Ortec)
Updating accounting system (Vista) with all relevant transport information
Liaising with customers, receivers and Offices regarding shipments
Creation and updating of shipments on systems
Dealing with customer queries & requests, ensuring requirements are met.
Routing and advising of schedules to subcontractors & branch offices.
Checking allocation of tanks to export shipments for compatibility, legal & customer requirements
Ensuring that all necessary administration work is completed i.e. Shipment updating / CMR / Drivers Instructions / Shipping Advices / Booking Orders etc.
Reporting all quality / safety incidents, and initiating investigation of the same
Passing shipment related invoices
Advising extra costs to customers and entering the same information into HOYER systems to permit billing
