Logistics & Order Management Coordinator | 12-Month FTC | Competitive Salary | Cork City | Hybrid

Your new company

Our client is a well-established organisation operating within the energy and distribution sector, supplying products nationwide through an extensive customer and partner network. Due to a planned fixed-term requirement, they are seeking a Logistics & Order Management Coordinator to join their Cork-based operations team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and collaborative environment where customer service, operational excellence and strong stakeholder relationships are key priorities.

Your new role

As Logistics & Order Management Coordinator, you will support the efficient management of customer orders and logistics operations across the business. You will work closely with customers, transport providers, drivers and internal departments to coordinate deliveries, resolve queries and ensure a high level of service is maintained. The role involves monitoring delivery schedules, managing inventory-related information, supporting reporting activities and helping to ensure orders are processed accurately and on time. You will also collaborate with colleagues across sales, finance and operations to support the smooth day-to-day running of the business and contribute to process improvements where appropriate.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in logistics, operations, supply chain, customer service, administration or a similar coordination role. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be comfortable liaising with a variety of stakeholders. Strong organisational abilities, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. You will have a proactive approach to problem-solving, the confidence to work on your own initiative and strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel. Experience within transport, haulage, warehousing, production planning or distribution environments would be advantageous but is not essential.

What you'll get in return

You will receive a competitive salary and the opportunity to join a respected organisation with a supportive and collaborative culture. The role offers a hybrid working model with three days onsite in Cork, free onsite parking, a company pension scheme and comprehensive training and onboarding support. This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your experience within logistics and operations while gaining valuable exposure to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
