The role includes leading contract reviews, introducing SLAs and KPIs, and building strong relationships with stakeholders such as Principal Investigators, School Managers, Laboratory Technicians, and the Green Laboratory Community. You’ll also liaise with shared services partners and run mini-competitions under national frameworks. Collaboration within the Procurement team is key, as is contributing to ISO 9001-certified procedures. You’ll foster trust with internal and external stakeholders and carry out additional duties as assigned by the Deputy Procurement Officer or Procurement Officer.

A solid understanding of public procurement rules is essential. Strong communication and presentation skills are needed, as well as proficiency in MS Office and other ICT systems. You should have excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, a customer-focused mindset, and strong time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
