Your new role

• Assist in sourcing and purchasing raw materials, components, and services to meet production requirements.
• Maintain accurate purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and reliable supply.
• Monitor inventory levels and support stock control processes.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to align procurement with operational needs.
• Resolve any supplier issues or discrepancies promptly.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a buying or procurement role (manufacturing experience desirable).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems (training provided if needed).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
