Junior Accounts Payable/Payroll

Your new company

A growing organisation within the construction sector is seeking to hire a junior Accounts Payable and payroll administrator to join their finance team. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Dublin 24.
Offering a salary of €35,000–€40,000, this is an excellent opportunity for a junior finance professional looking to develop their career within a supportive team environment. The company offers strong benefits, support for relevant studies, and the chance to gain hands-on exposure across accounts payable, payroll support, and general finance operations.

Your new role

Your new role will focus primarily on end-to-end accounts payable processes and general finance support. Your responsibilities will include processing high-volume supplier invoices, handling supplier queries, liaising with clients, conducting reconciliations, and setting up new suppliers on the internal system. You will also assist with weekly payroll, and support both the AP and finance teams as required.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their finance career who is eager to learn and develop.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will have a minimum Level 7 qualification/degree in Finance or a related field, with 1–2 years’ experience in an accounts or finance support role. The successful candidate will also have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, and the ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is also required. A valid visa/permit to work full-time in Ireland is essential.

What you'll get in return

You will receive a competitive salary of €35,000–€40,000, along with 25 days annual leave, construction workers pension scheme, VHI contribution, and parking on site. Hybrid working (2 days WFH) is offered after a successful 6‑month probation.
