Your new role

• Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test software applications that support business units or supporting functions.
• Work with diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies, and tools to deliver application program solutions.
• Participate in the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often leveraging new and emerging technologies.
• Provides technical direction and system architecture guidance for individual projects or initiatives.
• Serve as a fully seasoned and proficient technical resource within the team.
• Collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on requirements and solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application development and support issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure high code quality and maintainability through best practices and thorough testing.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proficient in Java 8/11 and Java EE technologies, including:
  • JAX-RS (RESTful services)
  • CDI, JPA, Bean Validation
  • JMS, JNDI, JDBC
  • JSP, Servlets
• Experience with Spring Framework ecosystem:
  • Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring MVC
• Hands-on knowledge of Mulesoft, RESTEasy, and Hibernate
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools:
  • Mockito, JUnit, Cucumber, Arquillian, AssertJ
• Experience with build and dependency management tools:
  • Maven, Ant
• Working knowledge of:
  • Elasticsearch, SQL, PL/SQL
  • XML, XSL, VXML, Xalan
• Proficiency with logging frameworks like Log4j
• Familiar with database migration/versioning tools like Flyway
• Knowledge of web frameworks such as Struts and Velocity

• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and architectural guidance.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Adaptability to new technologies and complex environments.
