Your new role

The IT Support Analyst will be based on-site and will work to ensure the efficient delivery of services and the ongoing operations of services. The IT Support Analyst will need to be adaptable to the organisation's changing demands and priorities, necessitating the post holder to switch focus at certain times to meet requirements. The post requires excellent technical and communication skills, disciplined organisation and administrative skills.

What you'll need to succeed

- Instructional design – support the preparation of online learning materials on platforms such as Canvas
- Provide technical support to staff
- Provide configuration and technical support for physical and virtual client devices such as desktops, laptops, smartphones, tablets, printers (e.g. break/fix; hardware and software deployments, data transfer, network troubleshooting and support)
- Provide day-to-day operations support for teaching and learning, research and administrative services provided, including Microsoft Office 365 & Active Directory (e.g. user account management, security group administration, mailbox, teams … etc), Google Education Suite, Internet and Intranet Web
- Assist in the security and integrity of systems, services, device encryption, data and information and ensure confidentiality at all times
- Provide network operation support
- Assist in the maintenance and operation of IT services
- Provide support for IT projects
- Assist in the development and maintenance of processes, procedures and knowledge bases
- Identify patterns that may indicate infrastructure or other more general problems and notify the relevant personnel within the IT services
- Undertake further training and develop IT skills and expertise
