IT Project Manager – Cybersecurity Experience – Fixed Term – 24 months

What you'll be working on
In your new role, you will be steering the ship on a range of IT projects, with a strong focus on cybersecurity. From setting out clear goals and timelines to keeping everything ticking along smoothly, you’ll be right at the heart of project delivery. You’ll be juggling multiple workstreams, coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers, and making sure risks are spotted early and handled smartly. It’s a hands-on role where structure, pace, and precision are key.

Who you'll be working for
You’ll be joining a well-established organisation with a broad footprint across Ireland, supporting a central IT function that serves thousands of users and hundreds of sites. The team is known for its collaborative spirit and its commitment to high standards in governance, integration, and security. You’ll be working alongside experienced professionals who value clarity, teamwork, and getting things done right.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT project management
  • PRINCE2 certification (essential)
  • Experience in cybersecurity or data management projects (a strong advantage)
  • Familiarity with both traditional project management and agile methodologies
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and stakeholder expectations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sharp attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities
  • Confidence in leading teams and collaborating across departments
  • Comfortable using O365 tools, especially SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams

What you'll get in return
You’ll be part of a team that values your input and gives you room to make a real impact. The role offers variety, challenge, and the chance to work on meaningful projects that shape how technology supports services across the country. It’s a fixed-term contract for up to two years, with a supportive environment and a chance to build on your experience in a high-profile area like cybersecurity.
