IT Lead | Permanent | Fully on-site in Dublin 6/8

Oversee the day-to-day coordination and continuous improvement of this company's IT systems and services.

This is a key operational role at the centre of the organisation’s technology environment, combining hands-on IT support with systems administration, supplier coordination, and digital service delivery. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring systems remain secure, stable, and aligned with organisational needs.


Key Responsibilities

IT Support & Service Coordination
  • Act as the first point of contact for IT support queries, service issues, and enhancement requests
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, access, and connectivity issues
  • Identify whether issues relate to technical faults, user training needs, or process gaps
  • Track recurring issues and contribute to service improvements

Systems Administration & Improvement
  • Support the operation of cloud-based platforms and integrated systems
  • Assist in managing integrations across CRM, collaboration tools, and telephony systems
  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for enhancement
  • Maintain and prioritise a pipeline of improvement initiatives
  • Support testing, release, and rollout of system updates

Vendor & Supplier Coordination
  • Liaise with external service providers and support partners
  • Ensure issues and change requests are clearly defined before escalation
  • Participate in regular service review meetings
  • Monitor supplier performance and support usage

Licencing, Devices & Assets
  • Manage Microsoft 365, CRM, and related licencing
  • Maintain accurate records of devices, mobile services, and IT assets
  • Coordinate procurement, setup, and life cycle management of equipment
  • Provide input on cost and licencing implications of system changes

Security, Governance & Compliance
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and multi-factor authentication
  • Support compliance with data protection and information governance standards
  • Assist in data-related requests and secure information handling practices.
  • Promote strong security awareness across systems and users

Telecommunications & Mobile Services
  • Coordinate mobile phone accounts and usage monitoring
  • Support telephony systems and related integrations
  • Liaise with providers on upgrades, issues, and renewals

Training, Documentation & Stakeholder Support
  • Develop user guides, process documentation, and training materials
  • Deliver onboarding and ongoing system training to staff
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define and prioritise system changes
  • Ensure clear communication between users and service providers


Skills & Experience
Essential:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT support, systems administration, or IT coordination
  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and cloud-based systems
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365 or equivalent)
  • Exposure to Power Platform, BI tools, or AI-enabled productivity tools
  • Proven ability to manage or coordinate third-party vendors
  • Experience supporting non-technical users and producing clear documentation
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Desirable:
  • Experience working within a Microsoft-centric IT environment
  • Knowledge of telephony systems and mobile fleet management
  • Understanding of GDPR and data handling processes
  • Familiarity with managed service models or delivery tools
  • Relevant qualification in IT, systems administration, or project management
