IT Asset Planning Technical Analyst | IT Operations| Hybrid 2 days WFO | Dubin or Cork

What you'll be working on
As an IT Asset Planning Technical Analyst in the public sector, you will be entrusted with the vital task of managing the lifecycle of diverse IT systems. Your role will demand rigorous analysis, development, and continuous enhancement to ensure the smooth functioning of asset planning and risk management systems. You will ensure these systems are seamlessly integrated with the wider financial and data warehousing structures, underpinning the operational efficiency of your organisation.

You will be working for one of Ireland’s leading public service companies, in Ireland, which is currently undergoing a Business Design change to improve service offerings and operations. What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you need:
  • Minimum of 3 years in functional and technical roles, preferably with systems like Oracle OPC, Oracle P6, Oracle Unifier, Copper Leaf.
  • Experience in utility asset investment and planning is beneficial.
  • A relevant third-level qualification.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication.
  • Ability to work with internal teams, end-users, and external vendors.
  • Capable of adapting to changes in business strategy and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Willingness to provide out-of-hours cover as part of a standby rota.
