Your new role
Support the Investment Appraisal Leads at formal workshops in a water and wastewater project’s lifecycle.
Support the Investment Appraisal Leads to develop processes for collecting and analysing asset data to manage service risk.
Analyse and interpret data and information from various sources required to input into service risk assessments.
Support the Asset Investments team to evaluate technical service risk assessments of assets to inform future investment needs.
Support the Asset Investments team to evaluate treatment and network system capacity to facilitate growth in the water and wastewater space.
Support Investment Appraisal Leads at meetings as required across the region and prepare information to support decisions.
Provide input into progress reports and updates for Water and Wastewater Asset Planning.
Collaborate on key data improvement initiatives for critical information on all proposed water and wastewater projects.
Ensure appropriate information is adequately collated and managed to facilitate prioritisation of projects.
Support development of Asset Standards, Policies and Specifications.
What you'll need to succeed
Demonstrable experience of end-to-end portfolio delivery is required, with experience around portfolio planning.
Relevant third level qualification and or accreditation is desirable.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the water, utilities or similar industries is desirable and or relevant experience.
Experience managing a team, with strong people, change management and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
Proven track record with dealing with complex issues, proactively and in a timely fashion along with the ability to communicate information to others.
